With assistance from the Scottish Government’s Vacant and Derelict Land Fund, Fusion Assets acquired a derelict property in Bellshill for its first residential scheme. The development forms part of a new and innovative regeneration initiative to establish a revolving investment fund to tackle the increasing problem of derelict buildings and sites within town centres.

 

Development
A planning application has been approved by North Lanarkshire Council for the development which consists of a twelve flats over four storeys.
Fusion Assets completed a package of enabling works  which included demolition and site clearance  along with the provision of a new access road to the plot. Discussions are on-going with a local housing association to undertake the development.

Accommodation
The current proposed site layout envisages a four storey building of sixteen two-bedroom flats.
