Fusion Assets purchases remaining land at Gartcosh Industrial Park

Following the recent granting of planning permission, Fusion Assets is pleased to announce that it has purchased the remaining 9 acres of land at Gartcosh Industrial Park from Scottish Enterprise. The overall site covers some twenty acres with plans in place to build out some 230,000 sqft of industrial development over a number of separate phases.

The first phase which consists of three speculatively built units was completed in January this year by a joint venture between Fusion Assets and J Smart & Co. Gartcosh Industrial Park is located at the entrance to the former Gartcosh steelworks site in North Lanarkshire which closed in 1986. The site was remediated some time ago and has a dedicated four-way motorway junction onto the M73 along with its own railway station.
