Fusion Assets is delighted to announce the acquisition of Plot One at the former Ravenscraig steelworks site in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire. The 6.4 acre site is located at the entrance to the commercial employment zone which has been opened up for development through the construction of a new access road by site owners, Ravenscraig Ltd.
The land provides Fusion Assets with a new development site within the Motherwell area and continues to align the company’s activities with the strategic regeneration priorities of North Lanarkshire Council. Following the remediation and servicing of the site, Fusion Assets will bring forward plans for a multi let industrial scheme designed to accommodate a range of potential users, including local companies and inward investors.
This is the latest example of Fusion Assets ongoing development programme of targeting long term derelict sites and successfully transforming them into successful business locations, in the process attracting jobs and investment into the local area.
