Fusion Assets acquired an 18 acre plot of land at Newhouse from Saltire Developments for a major new manufacturing, distribution and logistics development . The site occupies the last remaining undeveloped plot of land along the A775 where adjacent occupiers include WH Malcolm, Co-Operative Distribution and Brake Bros ltd.
The site benefits from having motorway frontage and is located between the existing Junction 6 Newhouse and Junction 6a which will be created as part of the upgrading works to the M8.

Detailed planning approval has been obtained for the first phase of development at Link Park which consists of some 81,000 sqft of new build Class 4, 5 and 6 business and industrial floorspace.
Fusion Assets has completed a package of advanced infrastructure works to provide new access roads, site platforming and servicing. Following a grant award from the Scottish Government’s Capital Regeneration Fund, Fusion Assets constructed the first building – a 20,000 sqft unit split into three with a shared yard space which was completed in October 2017.
The remainder of the site will be developed out through a joint venture partnership
The current proposed site layout identifies three stand alone industrial / distribution units with dedicated car parking and yard space within Phase 1 . The development will offer a flexible range of accommodation for both sale and lease with anticipated unit sizes ranging from 5,000 sqft to 22,000 sqft.
Phase 2 consists of four stand alone units ranging from 12,000 – 20,000 sqft.
