Ian Carmichael, Chair

Iain Carmichael is a Chartered Accountant with experience in the private and public sectors. From 1996 he was Chief Executive of Lanarkshire Development Agency and chaired the Ravenscraig Steering Group that developed the first masterplan for the site’s regeneration. He was also involved in the development of Strathclyde Business Park. Before he took early retirement he was Finance director of Scottish Enteprise. He is also a director of DSL Business Finance (formerly Developing Strathclyde Limited).
