Thomas Lunny, Board Member

Councillor Lunny was elected to North Lanarkshire Council in July 1996 and then re-elected in 1999 and again in 2007. Councillor Lunny's present appointments to outside organisations include  Motherwell & Wishaw Citizens Advice Bureau, Clyde Valley Housing Association, Lanarkshire Community Justice Authority and Strathclyde Joint Police Board.

He is a  former Shop Steward of Transport and General Workers Union (TGWU), a former Trade Union Liaison Officer for the Motherwell and Wishaw constituency, Labour Party Branch Chairperson between 1984-2000 and has been an election agent and sub-agent in various elections since 1975.
