Phase 1 under Construction
Location
In October 2014, Fusion Assets acquired a high profile 6.25 acre site within the wider Plot 1A at Gartcosh Business Interchange. A further 3 acres were acquired in December 2018 to form a second phase of development.
The development plot is situated at the entrance to the Gartcosh site, which occupies a strategic location at Junction 2A of the M73. Gartcosh Business Interchange is home to the prestigious Scottish Crime Campus and benefits from having its own dedicated railway station with park and ride facilities.

Development
Planning approval has been obtained for both phases of development at Gartcosh Industrial Park. Phase 1 consists of some 60,000 sqft of new build Class 4, 5 and 6 business and industrial floorspace. The second phase of development also consists of three units totaling 68,000 sqft.
Fusion Assets have completed a package of advanced infrastructure works to provide a new internal access road to sub divide the plot and provided site services and drainage.
Following a competitive tendering exercise, Edinburgh based J S mart & Co (Contractors) Plc has been appointed as the development partner and a new joint venture companyestablished to take forward the first phase of development.
Accommodation
The current proposed site layout identifies six stand alone industrial / distribution units with dedicated car parking and yard space. The development will offer a flexible range of accommodation for both sale and lease with anticipated unit sizes ranging from 16,000 sqft to 26,500 sqft.
The first building (18,000sqft) was completed in March 2019 and is available to let.
